About the Role 

A fast-growing technology team is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Developer for a full-time, office-based position. This role suits candidates who have foundational experience in PHP, Laravel, React, and Python and are eager to contribute to dynamic web development projects onsite alongside senior developers and cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support development, testing, and maintenance of web applications using PHP, Laravel, React, and Python. 
• Collaborate face-to-face with front-end and back-end teams in delivering new features and product enhancements. 
• Write efficient, readable, and well-documented code following company standards. 
• Help debug and troubleshoot software issues under mentorship of senior engineers. 
• Participate actively in team code reviews and adopt best practices for version control (Git). 
• Assist in product release cycles through assigned development tasks and bug fixes. 
• Stay updated on contemporary web development tools and techniques. 
• Communicate daily with team members, reporting progress and challenges in-person. 

Skills & Qualifications 

• Experience with PHP, Laravel, React, and Python in academic, internship or project settings(see the generated image above). 
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. 
• Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate web services. 
• Some hands-on exposure to front-end technology like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is desirable. 
• Ability to debug and resolve issues in both server and client side code. 
• Quick learner, open to onsite training and collaborative work. 
• Good problem-solving and logical thinking capabilities. 
• Able to follow in-office instructions, meet project deadlines, and work effectively within a team. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or relevant project work preferred.
